Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, open to first-time travelers.

Details

• Hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting
• Day shifts, 4x10 hours, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirements are associated with this position
• Epic EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience required
• ARRT (R) required; ARRT preferred, though RCIS may be accepted in lieu
• Current ACLS and BLS required
• Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures including left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, IABP placement/removal, cardiac stent placement, cardiac implant closure devices, and rotablader atherectomy
• Skills required include scrubbing, sterile technique, sterile field maintenance, room circulation, equipment setup, and interpretation of dysrhythmias and life-threatening arrhythmias
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
