Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel contract requiring at least 2 years of OR experience, on-call availability, and EKG/dysrhythmia competency.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room setting with a 5-bed unit
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities are required for this position
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated

Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; NRP preferred
• EKG/dysrhythmia competency knowledge required — testing will be assigned during the compliance process
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
• Utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration

• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout dates may be requested
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from this health system for at least 1 year to be eligible
• 12-week contract length
