Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU travel assignment in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and active ACLS and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Position is in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730
• 36 hours per week
• 7 weekends required per 8-week block
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Colorado or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ICU patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and ongoing patient health data collection
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, and refers patients as needed for further evaluation
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who were permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible
