Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Colorado, requiring 1+ year of ICU experience, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications on a night shift schedule.
Details
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting within a hospital environment
- Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 1900–0730
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend requirement: 7 weekends required in every 8-week period
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
- EMR: Epic (charting experience required)
Requirements
- Active CO state RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
- Current certifications required (must be AHA and valid through start date): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
- Associate's degree (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ICU patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and treatment planning
- Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation as needed
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
