Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a major hospital campus in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of permanent specialty experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Day/night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• While preferred shift will be accommodated when possible, the facility reserves the right to rotate shifts based on operational needs
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Tele required prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required (travel experience accepted for this requirement)
• A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic locations; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
• Two professional references are required for consideration
