Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 18 months to 2 years of experience in adult acute care and emergency department CT imaging for a night shift contract position.

Details

• Hospital-based CT department serving adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department patient populations
• Neonatal and infant patient populations are a preferred background
• CT procedures include abdomen w/ and w/o contrast, pelvis w/ and w/o contrast, chest w/ and w/o contrast, head w/ and w/o contrast, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, vascular CTA, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, musculoskeletal trauma, and ICU/portables
• Required X-ray experience includes extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal (upper and lower extremities)
• PACS experience required; Synapse experience preferred
• Cerner required for charting
• Night shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM
• On-call required as needed from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital is required

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months to 2 years of CT technologist experience required
• Current BLS (AHA or RQI accepted), ARRT (R) and CT certifications required
• Indiana or Compact state license required; license required if applicable
• Cerner charting experience required
• Experience with adult acute care, emergency department, and outpatient CT settings required
• Must be able to perform a full range of CT and X-ray procedures as listed
• Graduation from a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE required

• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
