Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a cardiac cath lab position requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT or RCIS certification.

Details

• Cardiac cath lab setting within an acute care hospital
• Procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, rotablader atherectomy, cardiac stent placement, cardiac implant closure device, and IABP placement/removal
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirements are associated with this position
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience required
• ARRT (R) preferred; RCIS accepted if ARRT is not held
• Current ACLS and BLS required
• Proficiency in scrub procedures, sterile technique, maintaining a sterile field, and room circulator duties
• Experience with equipment setup, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
