Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU and PICU experience for a night shift travel assignment in an inpatient pediatric acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Inpatient acute care hospital respiratory therapy department providing full-spectrum respiratory care services
• NICU and PICU patient populations
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred
• Floating to a nearby affiliate hospital may be required — refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• No on-call required
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate; no radius restriction

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in NICU and/or PICU required
• Active Oregon (OR) license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required — charge nurse references are not acceptable
• COVID vaccination proof required; no exemptions

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates who are former employees or previous travelers at this facility must provide a reference from the manager who supervised them there
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be declared upfront and may not exceed 2 weeks
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
