Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a GA or compact license, at least 18 months of ED experience, and night shift availability.

• Position is in a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift (NOC), 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Minimum 18 months of ER experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract; if time off falls on or near a holiday, the maximum is reduced to 3 days
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract, and consecutive days off around holidays are unlikely to be approved
