Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Baton Rouge, LA, requiring postpartum experience and prior travel nursing experience on night shifts.

Details

  • Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
  • Approximately 80% Labor & Delivery and 20% Mother/Baby (Postpartum) responsibilities
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Weekend rotation required; flexibility with scheduling is expected
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active LA RN license or Compact RN license (currently in hand) required
  • Prior Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
  • Postpartum/Mother & Baby experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Candidates should submit all time-off requests at the time of initial consideration
  • Local candidates are not eligible for this position
  • Minimal time-off requests preferred
