Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Baton Rouge, LA, requiring postpartum experience and prior travel nursing experience on night shifts.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Approximately 80% Labor & Delivery and 20% Mother/Baby (Postpartum) responsibilities
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend rotation required; flexibility with scheduling is expected
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active LA RN license or Compact RN license (currently in hand) required
- Prior Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Postpartum/Mother & Baby experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates should submit all time-off requests at the time of initial consideration
- Local candidates are not eligible for this position
- Minimal time-off requests preferred
