Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Baton Rouge, LA, requiring prior postpartum experience and previous travel nursing experience.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Primary focus on L&D (80%) with additional coverage of Mother/Baby and Postpartum (20%)
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend rotation may be required and will be discussed during the interview process
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active LA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Prior Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Postpartum experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
Additional Information
- Candidate must demonstrate flexibility with scheduling needs as directed by unit leadership
- Minimal time-off requests are preferred for this assignment
- Local candidates are not eligible for this position
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
