Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 26-week contract in a Level II cath lab setting, requiring ACLS certification and proficiency with IABP and Impella devices.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a Level II cath lab performing interventional cardiology without open-heart surgery
- Procedures include angiograms and stenting, as well as a full range of interventional radiology cases
- 5x8 hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Call required once per week, plus every 4th Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Current ACLS certification required
- IABP competency required
- Impella competency required
- Experienced IR Technologist required
- ARRT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

- Perform interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, stenting, and interventional cardiology cases
- Facility operates as a Level II cath lab with interventional cardiology capabilities but without open-heart surgery on-site
