Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interim Director of Nursing (DON) for a 13-week travel contract at a post-acute/LTC facility in Maplewood, MN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active MN RN license.

Details

• Long-term care (LTC) management setting in a post-acute care environment
• Role is an interim DON position with floor coverage as needed to cover shifts
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week
• Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
• Charting system: Point Click Care (PCC)

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration — pending licensure not accepted
• Current BLS certification required — copies of active certifications required; pending certifications not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required — no exceptions
• Driver's license required
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Serve as interim Director of Nursing, with responsibility to work the floor as needed to fill shift coverage gaps
• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are eligible and accepted at a local pay rate
• No orientation hours are included with this assignment
