Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care, Level I Trauma Center, requiring 2+ years of experience and active CNMT certification.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a dedicated Nuclear Medicine department
- Level I Trauma Center
- Equipment includes Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAM gamma cameras; training provided for those without prior experience on these systems
- Epic EMR used in this position
- 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Active BLS certification required; pending certifications not accepted
- Active CNMT certification via NMTCB required; pending certifications not accepted
- DOT certification preferred at start; required within 90 days if extended
- State or Compact (NLC) Nuclear Medicine license required if applicable; must be active — pending licenses not accepted
- A valid driver's license is required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- Radiation badge provided by the facility
- Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to remove them may result to contract termination
- Candidates may not currently be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity Health
- Candidates who were not directly employed but worked PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
