Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience to provide quality imaging services in a hospital setting in Arkansas.

Details

• Hospital-based mammography department
• Day shifts, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Work performed in the mammography department and potentially on a Mobile Mammography Unit
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Graduate of an ARRT-accredited program
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Current ARRT certification and CPR/BLS required
• State of Arkansas license required
• Registered Mammography Technologist (R.M.) credential is a plus
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs with proper body mechanics
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist for extended periods
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsible for producing quality diagnostic mammography images to assist radiologists with exams and support continuity of patient care
• This position is designated as safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana — the facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive drug screen upon arrival, including CBD products
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted for this position
