Description
American Traveler is hiring a Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a fast-paced IR unit with a high daily caseload.
Details
- Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
- High-volume environment averaging 16–20 cases per day
- May float to the Cath Lab
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- One call day required per week
- 4–6 weekend shifts required for the duration of the contract
- Uses Epic EMR (experience required)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS required
- Active Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable — a temporary LSRT license is accepted and typically takes 3–5 days to issue upon submission of the application fee and proof of ARRT certification
- Epic EMR experience required
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
