Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level I Trauma, academic teaching hospital requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and on-call availability.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a Level I Trauma, academic teaching, children's short-term acute care hospital with 554 staffed beds
• Surgical patient population with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Circulator role required
• Charting performed in Cerner
• Day shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
• On-call is required, consisting of 24–36 hours per month; specific details can be discussed with OR leadership
• 2–3 weekends required per month
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license (pending license accepted)
• BLS certification required (no RQI certifications accepted)
• Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Circulator experience required
• Cerner experience preferred
• COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with a completed exemption form signed by a provider for medical exemptions
• Candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• Travelers who have worked 4 consecutive assignments or reached the one-year mark at this facility must take a 6-month break before returning
