Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU / Intermediate Care (SICU/IMC) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of current SICU experience and at least 2 prior travel assignments.

Details

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Work in a Surgical ICU / Intermediate Care unit within a large academic hospital setting
• Patient population includes trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, ortho-neuro spine, oncology, and general surgery post-surgical patients
• Weekend requirement: 3 out of every 6 weekends per 6-week schedule
• On-call requirement: 2 availability calls per 6-week schedule
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Floating required to areas of like skill set as needed
• Epic EMR (preferred)

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Critical Care Certification preferred
• Trauma course completion preferred
• Minimum 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience required
• At least 2 prior travel assignments required
• Experience at a facility with 500+ beds required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

• Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
• Local candidates are accepted at the standard rate
