Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic rehab setting in Hueytown, AL, with new grads and first-time travelers welcome to apply.

Details

• Outpatient orthopedic setting focusing on post-op and musculoskeletal patient populations
• 8-hour day shifts
• Expected patient load of 12–14 patients per day with a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week
• Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected
• No floating to other clinics required
• Travel team placement within this clinic or a neighboring clinic may be available
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Current PT license required; active state license required if applicable (note: Colorado does not accept the compact PT license — an active Colorado license is required)
• BLS certification required
• Outpatient experience preferred
• New graduates and first-time travelers will be considered
• PTAs will not be considered for this position
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of outpatient orthopedic patients
• Double-booking is a routine part of follow-up visit scheduling
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are accepted
