Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in a rehab department, with experience across inpatient, outpatient, and/or home health settings.

Details

• Rehab department within a hospital setting
• Provides physical therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, and/or home health settings
• Treatments include PT modalities such as ultrasound, NMES, and iontophoresis, as well as skilled techniques such as manual muscle testing and joint ROM measurements
• Monday through Friday, day shift with rotating weekend coverage
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current IL PT license required; license required if applicable
• Valid driver's license and proof of personal auto insurance required
• BLS required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively
• APTA membership preferred
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment planning, and goal-setting in collaboration with patients, families, and the rehab team
• Supervises and directs Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and collaborates with other departments as needed
• Maintains accurate, timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, monthly notes, and discharge summaries
• Participates in performance improvement activities and adheres to established safety procedures
