Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT / Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Critical Access Hospital in Rushville, IL, with weekend 12-hour shifts and CT experience required.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital setting serving a rural community with a broad scope of imaging practice
• Diagnostic imaging department covering CT and general radiologic studies
• Patient population includes ER cases and inpatient studies across a range of imaging needs
• Low-volume environment with emphasis on precision, patient interaction, and clinical independence
• 3x12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• On-call availability required to support imaging services as needed

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited radiologic technology program
• ARRT certification and active state licensure required (IL IEMA licensure required if applicable)
• Minimum CT experience required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging, including bedside imaging for patients unable to travel to the imaging suite
• Administer contrast media and monitor patient responses throughout the procedure
• Communicate directly with physicians and care teams to support efficient workflow and patient outcomes
• Maintain a clean, organized imaging environment in accordance with safety and infection control standards
• Independent practice environment with a high degree of professional autonomy, especially on weekend shifts
• Weekend-focused schedule allows for a predictable routine and open weekdays
