Description
American Traveler is seeking a chemo-certified RN for a night shift inpatient Med/Oncology position requiring an ONS/ONCC certification and a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience.
Details
- Inpatient Med/Oncology unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes both oncology/chemotherapy patients and general medical patients
- Chemo-certified RNs are required on every shift to ensure coverage when chemo patients are admitted
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active FL or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required (same level as permanent staff)
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Oncology or chemo nursing experience required
- Copy of chemo certification required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for administering chemotherapy and providing care to general medical patients on a mixed inpatient oncology unit
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
