Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT/Rad Tech for a weekend night shift travel assignment at a Critical Access Hospital in rural southwest Colorado, requiring ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications and at least 2 years of recent experience.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital imaging/radiology department serving a rural mountain community supporting emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services
• Weekend night shift schedule: Friday through Sunday, 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Cerner EHR and PACS used for order review, documentation, and image workflow; Cerner experience is required
• No on-call requirement
• Holiday coverage may be required when holidays fall within the scheduled shift
• Floating within imaging scope may be required

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT and diagnostic radiology experience
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) required
• Current AHA BLS required
• Active Colorado state radiology license required (license required if applicable)
• Cerner EHR experience required — no exceptions
• Must be able to work independently on night shift — no exceptions
• Critical Access Hospital or rural hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• Perform CT and diagnostic radiology procedures per physician orders and imaging protocols, including proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality
• Administer contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients for reactions
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
• Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and other departments to support patient care
• Must be comfortable working independently during night shifts in a rural healthcare environment
