Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week contract at a short-term acute care pediatric hospital, requiring 18 months to 2 years of experience and current ARRT certification.
Details
- Outpatient center setting treating walk-in patients within a short-term acute care pediatric hospital
- Fluoroscopy procedures include modified barium swallows and urodynamics
- High-volume caseload of 30–75 patients per day, working alongside another technologist
- Equipment includes Konica U-arm, Philips, EOS, OEC, Dornier, and Zheim
- Cerner EMR; experience required
- 5x8 evening shifts, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Free parking on-site
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of Radiology/X-Ray Technologist experience
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS required (AHA and RQI accepted)
- Cerner EMR experience required
- IN or Compact state license required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- RTO of 5 days or fewer may be auto-approved
- Former permanent or PRN employees of the facility must have been away for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Local candidates are accepted for this Allied position
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Graduation from a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE is required
