Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience who can function independently in both CT and X-Ray for a 16-week travel assignment in Maryland.
Details
- Hospital-based CT unit
- 3x12 mid shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM on a block schedule of Saturday through Monday
- Every weekend required as part of the block schedule
- 1 on-call night shift per week required, which may fall on any night or be scheduled as Friday if included in the block schedule
- On-call shift involves performing X-Ray and CT exams with a clinical aide and backup staff available
- Floating required within the department and to sister facilities as needed
- Holiday coverage required as scheduled
- Uses GE equipment and PACS
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Must be able to function independently as both a CT and X-Ray technologist with strong skills in both modalities
- ARRT (CT and R) certification required
- Active MD state license required; pending license will be accepted, but applicants must apply for MD licensure within 48 hours of offer
- Current BLS required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Performs CT and X-Ray exams, including during on-call shifts
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Any time-off requests should be noted at the time of initial consideration
- Holiday shifts are required as they fall on the assigned schedule
