Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week outpatient imaging assignment in Ohio, requiring ARRT CT certification and experience with both adult and pediatric CT procedures.

Details

• Outpatient surgery center/imaging setting
• CT unit serving both adult and pediatric patient populations
• Caseload of approximately 40 patients per tech per day
• Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, chest, carotid, trauma head, cervical, lumbar, and musculoskeletal trauma CT scans
• Siemens CT Scanner used on unit
• Epic EMR experience required
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts: Friday 9:30 AM–10:00 PM and Saturday/Sunday 7:30 AM–8:00 PM

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS required
• Ohio state license required if applicable
• Proficiency with contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and isolation precautions
• Experience starting peripheral IVs and performing venipuncture
• Experience with 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• Experience with a variety of CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, carotid, trauma head, cervical, lumbar, and musculoskeletal trauma
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Only 1 pre-approved time-off request is permitted for the duration of the contract
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Pewter gray scrubs required
• Previous employees at this facility do not require a 30-day break between assignments to change representation
