Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Orange, CA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and the ability to circulate.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Weekends may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs
• Floating between all facilities within California is required; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Free parking is available on-site

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending licensure is not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring; AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring preferred
• Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
• Ability to circulate in the OR required
• Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Travel pairs will not be considered
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated
• All RTO must be submitted at the time of consideration; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a local rate
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs; L&D scrubs are provided
