Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of permanent clinical experience.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a large hospital campus
• Potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts with day/night rotating shifts (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30)
• Shifts may vary based on operational needs of the facility, though preferred shift will be honored when possible
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Tele required prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required (travel experience acceptable)
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to proceed
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers are limited to 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before returning for another assignment
