Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of radiology experience and active ARRT certification in CT.
Details
- Acute care inpatient hospital setting
- CT imaging services provided across multiple departments including NICU, CCU, and ED
- Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- On-call rotation participation may be required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience as a registered technologist
- Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent
- Active ARRT certification: R.T.(R) with advanced registry in CT, R.T.(CT)
- Current AHA BLS
- State license required if applicable
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- 1 year of CT experience in a Level I or II trauma center preferred
Additional Information
- Perform CT exams and procedures across multiple hospital departments, including NICU, CCU, and ED
- Assist radiologists and medical staff during exams and procedures
- Modify technical settings and adjust scanning parameters to optimize image quality and minimize patient exposure
- Perform routine quality control inspections and maintenance on CT scanner per manufacturer and organizational guidelines
- Complete documentation required for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
- Work independently in a complex, high-acuity inpatient environment
- Support and train peers as needed
- COVID-19 vaccination not required for this position
