Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for evening shift work at a large academic medical center with a Level I Trauma program, requiring ARRT-CT certification and experience with GE, Siemens, and PACS systems.

Details

• Large academic medical center with approximately 1,000 beds, including 200 dedicated pediatric beds
• Level I Trauma program with a wide range of imaging services
• CT imaging services include outpatient and inpatient imaging, CT intervention, pain management, portable neuro CT, portable OR imaging, dedicated ED CT, and pediatric/neonatal imaging
• Patient caseload includes cardiac, oncology, trauma, pain management, and interventional cases
• 13-week contract
• Monday through Friday evening shifts, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• GE, Siemens, and PACS equipment used — experience with all three is required

Requirements

• Active ARRT-CT certification required
• GE, Siemens, and PACS experience required (hard requirement)
• Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience highly preferred
• NC state license or Compact license required if applicable
• All required certifications must be in hand at time of consideration
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Fit test required

Additional Information

• Complex academic healthcare environment supporting a broad spectrum of imaging needs across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, surgical, and pediatric settings
• Orientation is scheduled on a biweekly basis
• Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a different pay rate
