Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Golden, CO, requiring a CO or compact RN license, AHA certifications, and at least 1 year of ICU experience.

Details

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting at a hospital in Golden, CO
• 3x12-hour night shifts (1900–0730) per week, 36 hours per week
• Weekend shifts required
• Charting performed in Epic
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to start date
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, including health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment monitoring
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screen required; candidates should report to the lab for drug screen within 24 hours of commitment
