Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in Golden, CO, requiring a CO or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
Details
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital setting
- Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend shifts required
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
- Required certifications (must be AHA and must not expire prior to start date): BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Skills including therapy, treatment planning, documentation, resource utilization, delegation, supervision, and consultation
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ICU patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
- Reviews, monitors, and documents therapy and treatment plans in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- BSN and unit-appropriate specialty certification are preferred
