Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need PICU position in Santa Clara, CA, requiring an active CA RN license and at least 1 year of recent PICU experience.

Details

• 13-week contract in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Epic EMR in use

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required — must be in hand at time of consideration (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS and PALS — must be active at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent PICU experience within the last 3 years (full-time equivalent)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BSN preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted and are eligible for the same rate as traveling candidates
• Travelers who have worked with this health system as a contingent worker may not exceed two cumulative years of assignment without a 90-day break — this applies regardless of whether the work was continuous or included short lapses of less than three months
