Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience, night shift availability, and active NC or Compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling requests are subject to facility approval
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Required certifications (all must be in hand): BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and Stroke Certification
• One supervisory professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced pay rate
• Orientations are held biweekly
• Required scrub color: Royal Blue
• Flu vaccine is required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted
