Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiovascular Care Unit (IMC) position in Denver, CO, requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVCU) in a hospital setting
- Acuity-adaptable unit serving Intermediate Care (IMC) patients
- Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Floating to other departments may be required based on unit need
- On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license — no pending licenses accepted
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — must not expire prior to start date
- TNCC preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiovascular or IMC nursing required
- ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for cardiovascular and IMC patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and ongoing health data collection and assessment
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed for further evaluation
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Two professional references required for consideration
