Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Trauma ICU position in Wichita, KS, requiring at least 2 years of experience and active KS or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Neuro Trauma ICU setting within a hospital environment
- Day shift hours: 07:00–19:30
- 13-week contract
- Required to work every other weekend
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas or a compact state currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
- ACLS certification preferred (AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
- Must possess a valid U.S. Social Security Number and provide a U.S. home address
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides critical care nursing to neuro trauma patients
- CPI/MOAB High-Risk training (online portion) must be completed prior to start; on-site portion will be completed during orientation
- Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies and may affect the pay rate — contact a recruiter for details
