Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level I trauma center in Kansas City, MO, requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and working night shifts Sunday, Monday, and Thursday.
Details
- Located in Kansas City, MO
- Operating Room unit with 18 ORs
- Level I trauma center performing a broad range of procedures including cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, urology, GYN, and robotic-assisted surgery (DaVinci and Mako systems)
- Documents using Meditech EMR
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Scheduled days: Sunday, Monday, and Thursday
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MO RN license or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience required
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Two professional references required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply as long as the 1-year experience requirement is met
