Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU/CCU-ICU Night Shift position in Lewiston, ID, requiring a valid Idaho or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of recent PCU experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a CCU/ICU department setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active Idaho RN license or multi-state compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only; RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience required
• Full US Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration
• Date of birth (DOB) required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provides shift-level accountability for patient care using the nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel
• Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
