Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Ottumwa, IA, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and an active Iowa or compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift position: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract
• ICU unit with 10 beds in a regional hospital setting
• Adult patient population with cases including COPD, chest pain, and cardiac drips
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Mindray equipment used on unit
• MediTech EHR system
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active Iowa or compact RN license required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for this travel position
• Cannot be currently employed full-time elsewhere

Additional Information

• Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult) required as part of onboarding
• Iowa SING background check (criminal and child abuse portions) required — no exceptions
• All background checks must be fully cleared prior to start; instant or statewide searches are not accepted
• 10-panel drug screening including opiates required
• Titers must be from within the last 12 months
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Any color scrubs are acceptable
• Monday or Tuesday starts available
