Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Med Surg position at a hospital in Denver, CO, requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Med Surg unit within an acute care hospital setting in Denver, CO
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 14-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current AHA BLS certification required — must not expire prior to assignment start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent Intermountain Health employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
