Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring postpartum and labor experience, with block scheduling and on-call responsibilities.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with a Level III Trauma Center designation
• Labor & Delivery (LDRP) unit with floating required between facilities within the state
• Patient ratios: 1:1–2 for laboring patients; 1:3–4 for postpartum couplets
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling required
• On-call required when census is low
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Scrubs: any color; surgical services scrubs provided

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
• NICU or LDRP experience required; must have both postpartum and labor experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• RTO is expected to be minimal; all time-off requests must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
