Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a fast-paced IR department in Washington, with first-time travelers welcome and a minimum of 1 year of experience required.
Details
- Fast-paced Interventional Radiology department supporting Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists at a 325-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Work in imaging suites equipped with Philips rooms (including one biplane room) and one GE Hybrid room
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Charts using Epic EMR
- Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of IR Technologist experience
- BLS and ARRT (R) certifications required
- IR/CV certification preferred
- Active Washington State license required (pending license not accepted)
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration — RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
