Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Tech/Rad Tech for a free-standing ED requiring ARRT certification and proficiency in both CT and diagnostic radiology.

Details

• Work at a free-standing emergency department with no outpatient or inpatient imaging
• Staffing of 1 CT/Rad Tech per shift handling an average of 10-20 CT and rad exams per shift
• Day and night shifts available
• Uses GE 64 Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, and GE portable x-ray equipment
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• 2 call shifts required per month
• Perform routine CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures for a small free-standing ED

Requirements

• ARRT Rad Tech certification required
• SCQRSA certification (SC Rad Tech license) required if applicable
• CT certification preferred with required CT experience and knowledge
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be proficient in both CT and diagnostic radiology

• Charcoal grey scrubs required
• Must be adaptable and able to function well independently in a fast-paced environment
• Facility is part of a 345-bed acute-care health system offering Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center services
