Description
American Traveler is hiring a Chemo-Certified Oncology RN for a night shift inpatient Med/Oncology position requiring ONS/ONCC certification and a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience.
Details
- Inpatient Med/Oncology unit setting
- Patient population includes both oncology/chemo patients and general medical patients
- Chemo-certified RNs are required on every shift to be available for newly admitted chemo patients
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active FL or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- ONS or ONCC chemo certification required (equivalent to facility staff standard)
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
- Copy of chemo certification required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for administering chemotherapy and caring for general medical patients on a mixed inpatient oncology unit
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
- 13-week contract
