Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mobile MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
Details
- Mobile MRI Tech role at an 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma academic teaching hospital
- 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Holiday coverage required when holidays fall on a scheduled shift
- No on-call requirement
- Floating within clinical scope may be required to meet facility needs
- Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI Tech experience required
- BLS (AHA) required
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- Siemens MRI equipment experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
- All RTO must be submitted at the time of application; approval is based on manager and unit needs
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
- Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Online orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment
- Teal top and black bottom scrubs required
- Parking on nights and weekends requires a one-time $20 parking pass fee
- During hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
