Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of high-volume ER experience, Epic proficiency, and multiple certifications including TNCC.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
- High-volume environment seeing at least 100 patients per day
- Standard patient ratio of 4:1
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
- Weekends required
- Floating required between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- No on-call responsibilities
- EMR: Epic (required)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WA state or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a high-volume setting (100+ patients/day) required
- Experience working at a 4:1 patient ratio required
- Epic EMR experience required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- All requested time off must be disclosed upfront; RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
