Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 12-week travel assignment in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, requiring an active Florida PT license and BLS certification.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting within a 467-bed hospital, including a new 26-bed IRF unit
• Physical Therapy department staffed with approximately 40 team members
• Day shift schedule, typically 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses specialized equipment including treadmill, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Rotating weekend call requirements
• Typical treatment sessions run 1.5 hours and include attending team conferences

Requirements

• Active PT license in Florida required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• IRF or SNF experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include conducting extended treatment sessions and participating in interdisciplinary team conferences
• Light gray scrubs required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
