Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 12-week travel assignment in an acute inpatient rehab facility (IRF), requiring an active FL PT license and 2+ years of clinical experience.

Details

• Physical Therapy department within a 467-bed facility, including a new 26-bed IRF unit
• Approximately 40 PT staff on the unit
• Day shift hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Rotating weekend call required
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Equipment used includes treadmill, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS
• Typical treatment sessions run 1.5 hours and include attendance at team conferences

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• Active PT license in Florida required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
• IRF or SNF experience preferred

Additional Information

• Light gray scrub color required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Main responsibilities include conducting patient treatment sessions and participating in team conferences
