Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Golden, CO, requiring multiple specialty certifications and at least 1 year of ED experience.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) at a hospital setting in Golden, CO
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts (0700–1930 or 0900–2130), 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• Weekend availability required
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
• Required certifications (all must be AHA and not expire prior to start date): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; performs health teaching, counseling, and delegated medical functions
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed for further evaluation
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
