Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring mid-shift availability, weekend coverage, and multiple required certifications including TNCC and ENPC.

Details

• Work setting is an acute care hospital Emergency Department
• Mid-shift schedule with variable start times (11a–11:30p, 12p–12a, 1p–1:30a, or 3p–3:30a)
• 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• Weekend availability required
• Charting performed in Epic
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active CO single-state or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Required certifications (all must be AHA and remain active through assignment start): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS
• Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients, including health teaching, counseling, and coordination of therapy and treatment plans
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Applies delegation, supervision, consultation, resource utilization, and documentation skills in daily practice
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment
• All certifications must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date
