Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 1+ year of ED experience, multiple certifications, and night shift availability including weekends.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) at a hospital setting
• Night shift: 1900–0730, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend availability required
• Epic EMR used for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
• Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to start date
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
